• Pre-Health Internship Overview

    For this internship you must shadow a minimum of 30 hours per week (~120 total hours) and participate in whatever educational experiences are requested.  Explorations term is Tuesday January 4- Friday January 28, 2022.  Read the following 2 books: Better and Being Mortal, both by Dr. Atul Gawande (paperbacks available through Amazon or other on-line book sellers). You should also read what is suggested to you by your supervisor during your internship. 

    Submit the 3 reflection essays of 1-2 pages via the upload link for each essay by the due date and time. The final 5-7-page reflection paper is due Thursday February 3, 2022 by 4:45 pm.   

    At the end of the internship, give your supervisor(s) the evaluation form(s) and ask that they are returned to me by February 1, 2022, 4:45pm. Your grade of S or U will be based on your performance, your essays, and your final paper. When you have completed your internship, please should send a handwritten thank you note to everyone that you worked with promptly.
