    Current

This is an individual assignment to analyze an existing interface from a usability perspective. This is presented as a 1,500-2,000 word report. This report includes a user observation to be conducted on multiple users in order to provide data for analysis. Your final paper should include a minimum of 10 quality references regarding HCI/usability theories or requirements as well as a discussion/analysis of your user study.

The final project for this course is to create a project proposal, a requirements document, and a design specification document for the project of your choosing. Please ensure idea is approved by Dr. Wagner before diving into the work!

The project will be due December 2. I would like to sit down with you to discuss it before the conclusion of the term.

Welcome back to the Hilltop! This week, we will go through expectations in the course and begin discussing software and general design from the user's perspective.

Each week, I will share a tidbit from Software Design Decoded: 66 Ways Experts Think by Marian Petre and Andre van der Hoek. These are "food for thought" ideas regarding how software engineers think about solving problems.
