Bonus Assignment

For this bonus assignment, you will need to choose one of the following shows/episodes (both found on Netflix) to watch:

"Down to Earth with Zac Efron":

- Iceland

- Costa Rica

- Sardinia

- Puerto Rico

- London


"Chef's Table: BBQ" 

- Rosalia Chay Chuc


You will need to write a short (~2 pgs) paper providing answers to the following questions: 

1 - Provide a brief plot summary of the episode, including the main lessons.

2 - Explain/discuss how the points in the episode are connected to and support at least 3 of the following topics we discussed in class this semester: Water Resources, Energy Resources, Food Resources, Land Resources, Human Population, Environmental Degradation/Pollution, Biodiversity, Urbanization, Ecological Processes

3 - Explain/discuss how the topics discussed in your episode are an issue in the United States/Alabama, and what we are or can do about it...you can apply concepts from your episode to the US/AL.

4 - Did you enjoy the episode, and do you feel like it was helpful/interesting to see some of these topics we covered in class applied in the real world?


*You will be graded on thoroughness and clarity of connection to class topics. You must choose one of the listed episodes - if you have another show/episode you would like to cover, it must be approved by me beforehand.
