An Educational philosophy is a personal statement about what you believe about education-related issues. For a teacher, it is a personal statement about one’s guiding principles. It answers questions such as:

  • What qualities do good teachers have?
  • What is the role of the teacher?
  • What is the role of a student?
  • What should students learn in school?
  • What is the best way to access student learning?
  • What is the purpose of school?

Here is the link to one example:

You can search the internet and you will find lots of other examples. Write your own 1-2 page paper explaining your personal philosophy of education.
