Pitch 2 final paper or final project media ideas (one paragraph each) . Submit to Moodle as a .PDF ONLY

There are several options for your Final Paper / Final Project

1)   TV Paper - Follow a TV series throughout it's season starting at Episode 1. You must watch at least 5 episodes (8 pages total – double spaced - MLA format - include 2 or more references in bibliography).

Summarize each episode and give your personal take on the show. Be sure to reference something that you learned in your book, lecture or screenings  when discussing EACH episode.  (4 pages)

Analyze the network or streaming service's industrial strategies and programming techniques, as well as advertising techniques or strategies. Describe their target audience as well as the demographics of their target audience. Discuss ratings and their impact on the show (4 pages).

2)   Propose a unique project or paper. This could be just about anything media related (unique paper proposal, short film, advertising campaign, newspaper, web series, podcast…), but I must approve the concept first. Be sure to pitch a solid concept in your project proposal.

3) Newspaper. Work on a new school newspaper. Three issues published throughout the semester.

4) High School recruiting video for BSC Admissions. This is a general recruiting campaign for the school (non-athletic). It includes a social media component.
