Reflection on Group Work
In a few paragraphs, please reflect on the process of working with your group. Use the following questions to guide your experience:
What: What was it like to work in a group? Lay out the facts. What happened? What was easy, hard, frustrating, enjoyable, challenging? What worked and what didn’t? What were your roles and responsibilities? What did you or your group do especially well? What did you or your group do not-so-well?
So what: What feelings did you experience throughout the group work process? What did you learn about working with others? What insights did you gain into yourself and your working style? Into your role as part of a team?
Now what: How would you apply the lessons you learned to future group situations? What will you do the same in the future? What will you do differently? You’ll have to work in groups in other classes; lay out a plan describing the actions you’ll take to ensure your next group is successful.
