Apply concepts learned in this module by working through the City of Corvallis project using the excel workbook that can be downloaded here:
This will be ongoing throughout the semester.
- Instructions for using the workbook are included on the "Workbook Instructions" tab of the file. or help on using the workbook.
- As a group, complete Corvallis Project - Chapter 2 for this module.
- As a group, submit your City of Corvallis Excel workbook (only one submission is required per group).
- Grading - The grading of these assignments will be as follows:
- 20% - All required statements are submitted (usually just your Excel workbook but in module 4 you have an additional financial statement to include)
- 40% - Correct journal entries
- 20% - Correct balances
- 20% - Miscellaneous - Any required additional statements are included, account balances have the correct sign (assets have debit balances, revenues have credit balances, etc)
