Connor, I agree that Thirteen Gorillas really makes you wonder about the meat that we consume. It is crazy how common Salmonella is, even in the United States. It is almost weekly that we hear about food recalls in the news, and it has really put into perspective that a lot of farmers are more concerned with how much money they can make instead of making sure they are doing everything that they can to ensure that what we are putting in our mouths won’t harm us. While eating organic is an option, many times organic food is extremely expensive, and is something not all families can afford.
