Cassidy, I agree that thirteen gorillas has been the best chapter so far. The stories have been very interesting and sometimes horrible and graphic. It is very scary knowing that little of the virus can cause that much damage or even death. Knowing that most of the viruses are zoonotic is very eye opening for sure! Looking back and knowing that you could have been face to face with a deadly disease is a scary thought but also warrants caution and awareness in the future to avoid these dangers. It also definitely makes you look at what you are eating because you never know where or what has happened to what you just ate which also warrants caution because meat is very integral to most people's diets.
