Hi EC! I think your disease was so interesting and detailed. I loved learning about Desmodus rotundus and I sure do NOT hope to stumble upon it myself. I think it is incredible how bats are hosts to so many diseases, viruses and bacterium in real life. It is insane how they can just live their lives with all of these cells that can cause so much pain and suffering to us humans. I found your first paragraph super interesting and thought it was very insightful.
One question I have just to make you get a little more creative for me (though you worked so hard and were already so creative with the details of your virus) is: How did they find the ability to create the vaccine or medications required to eradicate your disease? Was it virologists experimenting with genomes, animal research or something completely unique? I'm just curious if it took a lot of time and effort in order for them to discover the cure.
