This new disease could be really troublesome since wasps tend to sting people relatively often and that’s how the disease is transmitted. The fact that the disease could be spread person to person by contact is a big problem because now the disease is not only transmittable by wasps but also people. In addition, the fact that you’d have to kill off the entire wasp population is concerning since they’re wild and hard to track down and that would make it almost impossible to eliminate the disease entirely. I guess one good thing about the disease is the fact that the wasp dies after infecting one human. Although humans can infect other humans, a wasp can only infect one person.
