I never looked at the perspective of us having another pandemic due to population. After taking a class in urban environmental studies, and diving into the human side of science this is a real possibility. The world is already busting at the seams and a large reason is caused by over consumption. If we can’t control our consumption we begin to tap into areas where we wouldn’t typically think in order to meet our needs. Think about how we have turned to our standards of living decreasing and the kinds of foods we eat. These things add to our exposure to higher exposure of infection. Another pandemic is entirely possible and you bring great perspective to this topic!
