Alexandra, I feel like you made some excellent points I did not even think about! When you talked about how medicine would come to a shortage, it really made me think about how it has happened lots of times in the past, so of course if we had another huge outbreak it would happen again. This would make the outbreak more severe because people would not have a way to protect themselves against the virus. I found it really interesting how you talked about how viruses are becoming more and more resistant to drugs. This is very scary because medical professionals are running out of options to help people who are sick.
