Hi claire, I totally agree with you that the workplace should accommodate women if they choose to have a child while working or getting an education. Since childbirth is a natural part of life, and a rather important part at that, women should not have to give up or push back either parenthood or work life. In this day and age, and especially in the united states, we have the means and opportunity to allow women to have it all. I believe that there should be better maternity and paternity leave and more resources available to women and families if ever they need it.
