Actually, if I did my research right, turners, the one that makes it so the girl doesn't receive a second sex chromosome at all, comes from the dad. Thus, I'm not sure how the mother's age would affect it, beyond the kinks of an old machine.
I also agree that having a fanatically stable home is more important then a small chance of pregnancy problems.
