"Anonymity" as it is used in other studies that use data collected from the public doesn't quite work the same when it comes to DNA Testing and cross - referencing, as you said. How can we protect our DNA from companies that look to misuse our information when even companies like Google can't stop the breach of all of their users' passwords? I am interested to see how this privacy issue plays out as the interest and need for DNA testing grows in the future.
