Hey Palmer!
I think your forum is very interesting in many ways. I like how you talked about your mother and aunt getting their DNA tested together, because I do not know anyone in my family that has done something like this. But I do think it would be cool to see my family tree and see what kind of diseases my family is known to have, and what has been passed down from generations. Also, what you said about different companies giving you different results is very worrying though because you think with the same technology you would get the same answers for your genetics. I think that if I found out I had a disease that was bad I would probably live my life differently I don't know why but I do like how you think about your life and how confident you are in your lifestyle which is very good. I also do not think I would mind doing a genetic test and someone having my DNA, I don't know why but if I had a disease that they could try to cure I would want them to try and find a cure for it. Lastly, I agree with your last statement that if a person does a genetic test and finds out they have a deadly disease then they should not be punished. I think that it would be wrong for someone to have rates of their insurance raised or them being punished for a disease they didn't know they had.
