Hey Evie,
I like how you compared the gene splicing method of bringing back the wooly mammoth to the news in genetic altering in babies. I also mentioned how the wooly mammoth would help climate change because they would eat away the grass and expose the ground to the cooler air. I also agree that bringing back the wooly mammoth would not be very harmful to humans because they are herbivores. I also thought about the potential that bringing back these animals to their native lands could mess up the environment, such as the food chain because they have been extinct for thousands of years, and the environment has change since then. They could also take more nutrients from other animals than they would be giving. While bringing wooly mammoths back could be useful, I do not think it is worth it because I think it would take our focus off of other animals that are already here and adapted.
