I think I said this in class but I grew up with my brothers watching Monty Python and never was interested or enjoyed it, re-watching it I still wasn't a fan but it was a little more interesting knowing what exactly they were trying to make fun of and mock. Like we've talked about a lot, medieval men are supposed to be strong, expert warriors with no fear. Monty Python has King Arthur and his Knights often running from war, which I think is funny but also really mocks medieval values and traditions. In medieval days they would catapult animal carcasses into the enemies territory to spread disease. The scene in Monty Python where the french catapulted a live cow actually made me laugh pretty hard.
