It is kind of difficult to decide what kind of job I would be able to have and move week to week. I want to be a nurse but it would be impractical for me to go from hospital to hospital each week. So I think I would be a midwife where I could come when the baby is due and help deliver the baby and then move on to the location of the next pregnant woman each week. Hopefully, I would have enough money to get a tiny room each week. The top place I would want to go would be any city in Greece because of course, I would have to live out my mamma mia dream even if it is only for one week, I honestly would travel to any and every city in Greece. I would also love to go to Venice, Italy because I love the idea of the city being on the water and taking a water taxi. My favorite city I have been to in Europe is London because of the pubs and all of the beautiful architecture so I would need to stop by there. I would also love to go to South American so Rio would need to be on the list so I can experience some South American culture. When I would need to relax, I would go to Provence, France where I can walk in the lavender fields and drink some rose. I am such a beach-oriented person, I would probably love going to Bali and exploring the wide array of beaches on the island. Following the beach trend, I would have to take a trip to the Caribbean and stay in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic where the water is so beautifully clear. My friend swears by the safaris in Kenya so I would have to go check it out and see some cool wildlife and I am sure being a midwife in Kenya would be amazing- I would be exposed to such beautiful culture. While in Africa, I would need to go to Cape Town in South Africa to see the giant great white sharks I have been watching for years during "Shark Week". And my final favorite place would have to be Paris, France where I can enjoy a crepe and listen to an accordion in the cobblestone streets. This experiment sounds absolutely amazing, I am beginning to get the travel bug as I write it. I know it would be really difficult to be constantly moving for a year but I think it is so important to go out and see the world. I hope I get to do that before I "settle down" because if I do not I will always have a certain wanderlust for the rest of my life. I think this experiment would change how I looked at life because I would be exposed to so many new and beautiful cultures which are really important to my growth as a person.

Hi Evie! I miss seeing you every day! I hope quarantine is treating you well! I would love to visit Greece as well and live out the Mamma Mia dream! Maybe we could take Saylor too because it is her favorite movie. I think Venice would be so cool. I love the water and I think being so close to the water and having to take a water taxi would be so fun! It is one of my dreams to go to Venice and ride a gondola. I love that you want to go to Kenya and do a safari there. My sister has been talking about wanting to do a safari in Africa for the longest time and I think it would be such a great way to see more of their culture. We should go together because I absolutely want to visit all of the places you mentioned!

I really enjoy your excitement toward other opportunities outside of this country! I agree with you that there is so much we have left to learn about the world and to settle down now would lead to many regrets. Hopefully you do get the chance to go to some of these places! I too want to go to the Dominican Republic and Greece. I feel like the attractive scenery and eco-tourism is a draw to many for those locations. I think your want to be a mid-wife would be an amazing way to gain access into the different lives of families across cultures. Being able to examine the different practices from religion to medicine would be extremely interesting.
