I think that if I could travel the world for an entire year I would be an au pair or a nurse where needed. Really love working with kids and hopefully my degree would be seen as a plus in case of emergencies. I think that my top 10 locations would be : Prague, Greece, South Africa, Egypt, Alaska, the Swiss Alps, Iceland during the winter, Japan, and Florence Italy. I really would love to learn about other places that are so different from Birmingham. I went on the 5 cities trip this year and it really was life-changing. I felt so comfortable being so out of my element. I thought that it would scare me and I would want to come home, but I loved the new feelings I had. I think it is really important to go out and travel if you can because it teaches you how different all cultures are and how valuable they are, but it also shows you how similar all human beings can be. I think doing something like this would help me be better at my future job because I would be more accepting and it would help me check my judgements about people at the door. I would love to do this! I hope that I do get to travel abroad more in the future. I want to be able to help people and let them know that no matter who they are, they are a patient and they deserve the best treatment that I can give them.
