If I had to spend the year after graduation traveling, I would like to travel to places full of beautiful natural landscapes. I would enjoy playing piano and taking requests for people in events and restaurants and have made money from this before. I believe music is universal and while it doesn't pay, it's the most rewarding job I could think of in this situation. I would want to travel to the following locations in order 1. Guatemala ( where my siblings are adopted from ) 2. Argentina 3. Brazil 4. Dominican Republic 5. Italy 7. Sweden 8. New Zealand 9. Australia 10. New York. I have never been to any of these places and think I have a lot to learn from each individual culture. I would like to learn about the social infrastructure of each location and how their health-care system reflects the content we have studied in college. I believe observing the mistakes of others as well as their triumphs is the best way to make meaningful progress in any situation. That being said, no country has it the best or knows exactly what they're doing (which has become extremely obvious over the past month). Everyone has something to learn from the differences we maintain with one another. I would like to observe the culture and society and the science and innovation that each country utilizes in different ways. From the universal healthcare systems to the crumbling hospitals of the Dominican, there is valuable information that could be useful for anyone who wants to go make an impact in any field. All of that being said, I like this experiment in theory but have far too much extra schooling left to do before I go travel anywhere. Also, we are not allowed to leave the house right now so that complicates things. I do very much enjoy the lessons of the exercise.
