Personally, I had the opportunity to travel a lot when I was younger, so this isn’t something that I would really want to do. I am also not a big fan of uncertainty and traveling to a new place every week would have a lot of uncertainty with it. That being said, if I had to do it, I would be a pilot for the year. I feel like this is the most logical way to visit new places while still making enough money to support myself. During the winter, I would want to travel places where I could ski, such as Montana, Colorado, and Utah. I would also want to go to some international destinations that are known for their skiing such as Switzerland and Germany. I don’t like hot weather, so during the summer seasons I would want to go somewhere that isn’t too hot and humid. Somewhere up North sounds intriguing, so maybe Cape Cod. I could also go to somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere, like Australia, where the seasons are opposite. Even though Australian winters are fairly temperate, I would prefer to visit there when it isn’t super-hot outside. Some other random places I have always wanted to visit are Costa Rica, Peru, and Argentina. Overall, I definitely think this “experiment” would change the way I look at life. Seeing all different kinds of places would open my eyes to all different kinds of people and places, and I think upon returning to my home, these experiences would affect the way I think about day-to-day life.
Hey Lauren! I definitely understand not liking uncertainty because it is unknown, and I am definitely afraid of the unknown. I find it really interesting that you would want to be a pilot because it is something I never really thought about. It is definitely very logical because since you want to go to places of high altitude, that would be the easiest method of transportation. I hate the cold so I never really considered visiting places that are known for the amount of snow that they get, but skiing does sound a lot of fun. I might be weird but I love the heat so I would probably plan to visit Australia during the summer, to get the full effect. I agree with the fact that visiting all of these places would definitely have an effect on how we see and think about our lives.
