This is so crazy because of these last couple of weeks I have been putting together where I would want to go when I graduate from the AMNP program at UAB. I came up with a perfect scenario where I would get a job at Broward Medical Center, a Trauma 1 hospital on the southern coastline of Florida. I have even picked out an apartment 30 minutes away from the hospital. In a world of chaos, it was nice to pretend that I had life all planned out.
Aside from that location, I would love to travel the world and work as a nurse in Dubai, Cairo, Casablanca, Phuket (in Thailand), Barcelona, Cairns (to see the Great Barrier Reef), Maldives, Cairo, Chefchaouen (Africa), and Cappadocia. I have always wanted to travel to the east of the world and experience their cultures and visit their beautiful beaches and cities. Most of these places are close to the water because I have a profound preference for the beach and being surrounded by water. If I ever decided to become a travel nurse and live a life similar to this, I think that it would be one of the greatest experiences ever. I have always wanted to travel the world and experience different cultures and environments, but I have not really been able to travel out of the country yet. I think that this experiment would remind me that the world is much bigger than what I see and experience on an everyday basis.
