I loved how stormy and gloomy the ring was. I think it did a really good job setting the feeling of dread throughout the movie. It feels that the storm is holding overhead at all time which mirrors the feeling of dread that is always over head. I also like the gloomy ending. After trying so hard to right the wrongs that have been done to Samara, she still haunting people. She just has to keep passing the curse along.
