After reading this article I realized that I am always in touch with the sensuous plane of music and usually always get in touch with some sort of expression through the music. I would say I do not pay as much attention to the musical plane. I am not as aware of what is happening to the musical material and all the different melodies and rhythms. After reading this article, I realized I need to become more aware of touching in all three of the planes while listening to music. In order to deepen my understanding of music I need to become more of an active listener.
