Photography lets people see deeper into these events. It allowed people to see exactly what was happening in the south and in Vietnam. These pictures brought out the public’s emotion and provoked reactions when the people were not happy with the reality that had been brought to light. 

Photography today pretty much has the same impact as it did in the past. People have the same mindset that if there is no picture or video, it didn’t happen. Now, everyone has a camera in their pocket. If anything that might be noteworthy happens, there are already dozens of pictures of it. News travels faster than ever and the pictures that go with it is what catches a lot of people’s attention.
