The video gives insight on major events that happened during the civil rights movement and events that are currently happening today. Through pictures and videos, emotions are shown that are hard to say in words. The graphic images that were shown during the civil rights movement are similar to those that are taken during the Black Lives Matter movement today. In the 1960s, pictures caused sympathy in the hearts of American citizens in the North. The pictures depicted the harsh injustice blacks faced while fighting for rights as Americans, just as the pictures and videos taken today show the injustices that are still happening in the 21st century.  Though words can be decieving pictures show authenticy in the events occurring. Without pictures, most events in history would lack credibility or maybe even forgotten.
