Writers,
We will be meeting in person today. As always, I will record and save the class for those of you required to quarantine or isolate. We all appreciate your keeping the rest of us safe and look forward to welcoming you back to class.
In class today, we will engage in a brainstorming session for topics for the rest of the papers you will write this term. These will not be topics you HAVE to use, but I want to get your minds cogitating about topics that will be interesting to you and that will help you write excellent papers.
For those of you attending class virtually, I apologize for the poor visual quality. I hope you can at least hear me. I am continuing to work with Information Technology to improve the recording of classes.
If any of you—in person or virtual—have any questions, email me if you can’t talk to me in class. These are very challenging times for you, and I want to be as helpful as possible. A few of you have emailed me with topics for your personal essays. I’m happy to say I’m looking forward to those essays.
I’ll see those of you who can attend at 2:00. Health to those of you required to isolate or quarantine.
