In one of the examples that explains how caste develops how someone interprets the Ramayana, Rama makes his wife be submissive. (185) this could alter the perception of the Ramayana compared to others because in some of the other instances Rama has killed someone for doing aesthetic practice, which is not allowed with people born outside the twice-born caste system. (185). When someone is born outside the caste system and cannot practice certain forms of theology it can be detrimental to the individual. If they want to perform aesthetic practices and are born inside the caste system then it is find, but outside it is wrong.
