Hi Cosette, I completely agree with what you said about the shortcomings in the video. I especially like how you point out that it s categorized as Mythology. To not consider the Ramayana as a historical or religious text and yet attribute it to religious scholarship seems pointless. The historical implications of the text are vast and ongoing. They should be recognized. Since they are not the video seems to disregard and discredit those who argue the Ramayana is fact.
