I agree, the existence of such vast perspectives challenges us to look further. It is hard to find complete agreement on any specific point within the Ramayana tradition which easily can be paralleled to the Christian Scriptures. Shoot it is so hard to find common ground within the Christian tradition, so why should we expect to find it in other traditions? The important thing is recognition of other perspectives and what they add to the discussion at hand, or research at hand.
