Explorations in Religious Identity (RE 300 WR)

I wrote about how the Knights Templar were executed by the French monarchy. This was relatively difficult to connect these stories together, however there are some connections that are similar. One of the connections I made was when Rama and Sita were exiled and I connected this with how when the Templars were executed and the order was dissolved. Rama and Sita then came back after 14 years and while it was not 14 years until the Templars came back (it was 700) they did finally become an order of the Catholic Church again. This made me realize that if someone or something has been persecuted for something unjustly then there will be a chance for them to come back at some point in the future. This also made me think of how when people gain power they abuse it as well, no matter what the reason is.
