Before: God sent angels after Lilith, but she refused to come back unless equality could be had. The angels knew that Adam wouldn’t agree to this, so they said they would kill 100 of her babies every day unless she returned to Eden. Lilith continued to refuse and never returned to the Garden of Eden. In this version of the creation story it is believed that Eve was then created from Adam’s rib as the second woman to live in Eden.

After: God sent angels after Lilith to entice her to return, but she continuously refused unless they could promise that she would be Adam's equal. The angels knew that Adam would never agree to this, so they began to threaten her saying that they would kill 100 of her babies every day unless she returned to Eden. Lilith was steadfast in her beliefs and never returned to the Garden of Eden. After accepting defeat, Eve was created from Adam’s rib to take Lilith's role in Eden.

Looks good. I would just add a subject to your last sentence: "After accepting defeat, God created Eve from..." If that sounds too strange, you might change it to "Thus God created Eve from Adam's rib to take Lilith's place in Eden."
