1. The Good Samaritan

            -The Bright Smile, Shiny Teeth Prince

                        -Very Kind

                        -Appeals to many

                        -Selfless

                        -He has to help an enemy in need

                        -He was good to begin with, so there’s really no transformation

2. The Levite

            -A jock (big muscles, but not the brightest bulb)

                        -Boastful, Loud, Is sweet at times, not a risktaker

                        -Has to decide to take a risk or not

                        -doesn’t really undergo transformation because he ignores the troubles

3. The Priest

            -The Highschool Bystander (He’s medium-height, laidback, clean-cut haircut)

                        -Has a friend group, but it’s not the popular group

                        -Funny, Outgoing, also not a risktaker

                        -Also has to decide to take a risk or not

                        -Also remains stagnant because he dodges the “drama’

                       

4. The Injured Man in the Ditch

            -The Nerd (Scrawny, Hair covers his eyes)  

                        -Shy, Helpless, Lacks Confidence, Confused

                       -Struggles to Defend Himself

                       -Needs to acknowledge his desperateness  

                       -Realizes the necessity to demonstrate empathy towards others, since someone did that for him

 

5. Conventional Approach

                -Cartoon: The Uppity, Miss Perfect Sister (Blonde hair is flawlessly combed with a headband, Tall)

                        -Strives to be the center of attention at all times

                        -is always right

                        -Known by many, very popular

                        -Can be challenged by certain crowds

                        -Realizes there are others out there that deserve recognition, as well

 

6. Alternate Approach  

            -Cartoon: The Underdog

                        -Humble

                        -Thoroughly knows himself

                        -Sometimes is easily outshined

                        -Must step up to the plate

                        -Realizes he needs to be heard, in order to help others

This is a really interesting typical high school character story net. It frames your argument in a compelling way. By your casting choices, I can see your personal understandings of these characters and concepts. I like how you frame the conventional approach especially. You define a depth to the conventional that I think many of us typically miss in making our bold claims about alternative interpretations. Very nice.

You should make them characters from the Twilight franchise and see what happens.

This sounds like a very common narrative in modern day hollywood movies that follow a student or students in high school. I see it as, in order, the good kid, the cocky jock, the nice rich kid, and the poor/weird kid. I never looked deeply into what the other character's lives were like in this story but i like your approach. excited to see your final product!
