This sounds like a very common narrative in modern day hollywood movies that follow a student or students in high school. I see it as, in order, the good kid, the cocky jock, the nice rich kid, and the poor/weird kid. I never looked deeply into what the other character's lives were like in this story but i like your approach. excited to see your final product!
