Number of replies: 2

1. Introduction to the problem

2. Discussion of the two different creation stories to determine which warrants attention

3. Discussion of what Genesis 2-3 actually says in the Biblical canon (plot and grammar implications)

4. Modern interpretations of the story (mostly conservative though)

5. Implications this story has on women

6. Conclusion

I think the flow of my outline makes a lot of sense, first introducing the problem then working out where the trouble spots are and what all of the issues are.  I think my paper would benefit from fleshing out the Modern Interpretations section to include more progressive or feminist interpretations of the story.  I had originally planned on putting that section after the Implications on Women section to be like a "feminist response to the issue" to close out, but what do you guys think?

Rachel,
This outline seems to serve your argument well. I think unless your thesis is directly about the feminist responses then you can incorporate it in your 5th point instead of creating a whole new section. It is ultimately up to you though.
