My essay is about the ways in which we exclude and cast aside women in the church which could easily be compared to the way we treat the cats on campus. The cats just want to be appreciated and treated with worth similar to how women wish to be treated within the church. The essay has a section that focuses on Lilith as a feminist icon. Lilith is featured in many shows in which cats are key parts of the story providing a relatable character to a hard to cover topic. I feel like some of our campus cats, such as Bertha, have a lot of personality that could easily be a picture of strength and solidarity for people campus-wide.

Cute! The cats are definitely shunned and ignored by many. I think that Bertha can be a great image of strength for BSC's campus. I like that idea.

Very nice connection. I also think that sometimes cats get a bad rep for their sometimes antisocial behavior. Lilith went against the curve so maybe that is something.
