Freshman year, I noticed the attachment that a particular campus cat, a tabby, had towards students. It was unlike typical cats, that usually hiss with their razor-sharp teeth when a stranger comes near. In fact, this cat craved human attention. Thus, she lingered around on the Attic porch. Most definitely, she remained close to humans in hopes of receiving her next meal, but I believe the purring critter enjoyed the company, as well. My essay is similar to this campus cat. I wrote about the less common approach of the Good Samaritan parable. In my writing, I discuss the traditional perspectives but primarily focus on the alternative. With this alternative approach, the need to show compassion is addressed. By implementing and acknowledging this alternate perspective, the world improves. When exploring the non-mainstream approaches, you encounter benefits. The same statement applies to this particular tabby cat. She didn’t hiss, as a traditional, normal cat does. Thus, she reaped the benefits, which were food and love.
