It is placed under the mythology subheading because he says right in beginning of the video that it is focused more towards the narrative and cultural aspects of Rama's story.  That being said, it purposively avoided talking about the religious or historical meaning behind the story.  This video says that Rama's father banished him, which is true but technically his wife nearly forced him to. They also breeze over many battles and the discover of Rama's bow.
