My paper was on discussing what it meant for Jesus to actually be "the King of the Jews" and what made him set apart. Something i have realized in reading both the Ramayana and research for my paper is that sometimes the "main character" is not always the main character of the story's true narrative. What if Sita was actually the character of focus. She stuck by Rama's side after he lost everything and she continued to love him even when he didn't love her. What if Jesus was not concerned with people seeing him? He pointed everythiing he did to God and, more importantly, always explained every parable to his disciples. He wanted THEM to leads the people. Jesus was not meant to lead His sheep, WE are.
Another thing that stuck out to me was how Ravana had no good reason to want to hurt Rama. He just hated him from first sight and made it his duty to ruin his life. That's exactly what the pharisees did with Jesus. Jesus was nothing but perfect and they hated him for it.
