I didn’t find anything confusing on this reading. I thought it was actually interesting to find out that women used knitting in the wars to help our troops in one or more ways. This reading changed my perspective on knitting more than yesterday reading because knitting has came a along way from just using it to keep women in the house. We used knitting to make clothes for the soldiers and we even used old blankets and clothes and patches to even to give to the soldiers who walked around naked. Then it changes how we think about her men saw women as nothing to do with the war so they let us walk by with no problems not even knowing that we were helping share information with General George Washington. We made a lot of differences during these times and no one would really know because history does not capture women history that much. This reading just got me thinking about women history we don’t know about that could involve music or art or pottery just like knitting was being used in the war.

Hey, I totally relate with our point here. I also thought to myself that not only is knitting keeping women at home but they use it to help the troops during war. I guess we can say knitting is not only a beautiful art but also a weapon of war.
In addition to this I liked the first article that explained how women use knitting to give recognition to other great women who campaigned for women’s suffrage. I personally thought this is a good idea since knitting or crochet works is pleasing to the eye hence people can easily get the message being put across when designed in the art.
