In the radical stitch article, I liked how Catherine Mazza used knitting as a way to make her stance on the Iraq war known. I also liked that she chose helmet liners and sent them to the senators in order to get her point about bringing the troops home. It is almost like she is saying "I am putting you in their shoes. Bring the troops home."

I liked that the Revolutionary knitting articles shared a man's point of view. I also liked that the group called themselves the Raging Grannies to bring some humor to their otherwise very important cause. The Revolutionary Knitting Circle wants to show that knitting does not have to be a strictly female activity. This group also uses knitting as a way to voice their opinions on essential needs within a community.

In the stitch at a time article, Corbett's embroidered handkerchief's really stuck out to me. The more I thought about it, however, I would have been overwhelmed with emotion if someone hand embroidered a personal message to me telling me to change my ways. I thought this was a very creative and impactful way to make a change.
