The yarn bombing in LA for the Black Lives Matter community was very appealing to the eye. All the colors and variations in size make it pop out even more. It is really cool how realistic these letters look. I kind of got a graffiti vibe from it. The way in which these letters are asymmetrical just makes the overall piece better and more unique in my opinion. You want to create something that catches the eye and I believe these artists did just that. Something I found interesting is the common interest that Taylor Payne talks about. She uses knitting as a way to protest but also as a way to spark up a conversation. I thought it was neat that knitting can incorporate many other aspects rather than just targeting one particular thing.
