It’s very interesting to see how people utilize the tools they are presented with as means to send a message. While the internet as a whole has notoriously been a place filled with information and communities since its creation, there are always things going on behind the scenes that more people actively participate in than I thought. It’s never surprising but it’s always inspiring. These knitters use their talents both on and offline to create change in positive ways, and tackle issues that wouldn’t otherwise be mentioned had these communities not existed.
