The article Ferguson’s radical knitters is quite an interesting piece to read. Over the past few days we have been reading how people use knitting for various things. Some use it as a weapon of war, others use it as a weapon for the promotion of peace. In this article knitting is used to attract people for educational purposes. The Yarns Mission used knitting to educate people on crucial systemic issues as the article said which I think is great. We have read how knitting engages the mind so I think if people gather around to knit and have important discussions like this it would bring out the best thoughts in them.
