I thought all of these ideas were absolutely amazing in the way they use knitting to bring attention to a variety of causes. The climate change scarves really forces the knitter to keep in touch with the world outside. As it said in the article, it creates a new found appreciation of the earth and everything it offers. Not only does it keep the knitter in touch, it tells a story. Those stories can range from the weather three months around the birth of a child to the weather during quarantine. Each story turns into a beautiful scarf or blanket. I also liked the beach clean up project and the way it progressed and got more people involved over time. It made me think of all the ways that knitting can inspire people and turn something like beach trash or the weather into something beautiful with a message.
