The climate scarves, I feel, are very effective. It’s a simple visual many can understand, like the teacher who showed it to her students. As the climate rises, I’m assuming cold is blue and red is hot, I can imagine how much urgency this could make a viewer feel seeing the red increasing in times it wouldn’t be as warm. The popularity of buying kits for this it looks like has grown in size, making more and more people aware of the cause. I could imagine someone getting this for their kids to be a fun project, but also turn it into a lesson about mindfulness towards the environment.

I can agree completely, with your statement. For me, when I did a piece in the representation of climate change/global warming, I portrayed it using monotone colors ( black, blue, green, and red). In the end, after being critiqued, I began to realize that not all of what I portrayed may have been an issue that was under control. With all this to say, the results from the critique didn't really matter as much as the idea of putting some form of care and effort in an attempt to bring awareness to this cause. Overall, I can agree with the effectiveness that the climate scarves have and how with the kits the idea of mindfulness towards the environment is key factor in this project.
