Much like the other discussions, I never thought about knitting as a way to bring attention to climate change and global warming. As opposed to the views of others, I do feel that global warming is real and feel there is nothing we can do other than recycling to make sure waste does not end up in ocean water as well as sewers and others means of utilities we use on the daily basis. I love the name "Temperature scarves" and the fact that they use the colors red, yellow, and blue to represent the different environmental changes. I agree this does give people an easy and safe way to address climate change and global warming amongst other people who feel it is a real problem and must be resolved without being confrontational or seeming rude. This is also an easy way to teach children the importance of recycling and how they can better their communities.
