The temperature scarves used to raise awareness for global warming really hit the nail on the head. We know that scarves are worn in cold weather to keep us warm so it was a perfect object to use for this issue. I thought it was pretty cool about how many scarves have been made and that there are still many in the process of being made. Not only were the scarves effective in getting their point across but they were also just as meaningful in helping to create conversations about global warming and establishing a community of common followers. Finally, there was an article about what most picture when knitting is brought up. That is, grannies and rocking chairs. Perhaps the coolest thing about this whole deal is the age of these women and the fact that they did not let that hinder their fight for what they stand for. Also, they created songs which was pretty cool too.
